Farm-to-Garment overview

One of the many things I didn’t know when we first started raising alpaca . . . was how long it takes to bring a single fiber harvest “to market”.

And by “market” I simply mean that it’s ready for sale. Whether that’s to the actual farmer’s market or in our online shop.

Just how long, exactly?

About TWO YEARS.

Say what?!

Yes, you read that correctly!

Instead of writing a mini novel about why that is the case . . .

I thought an infographic would be the best way to explain the long (but beautiful) cycle of taking fiber from the farm to a garment.

Stay tuned as I will further break down each part of the process!
